Nicholas Andrikopoulos is one of the most distinguished Greek illustrators. A state prize, an international distinction in Tehran Illustrators Exhibition, as well as IBBY honour list are among his awards he can boast of.
	His illustrations are poetic, inventive and sometimes suggestive.  His style is quite personal: an expressionist at times, a renaissance or romantic at other or even a surrealist, he moves on in confidence and sensitivity, using a mixed technique. His forms are clear, his figures express the longing of the soul.
